Today, I was sitting in Women's Bible Study at lunch and was marveling at God, so much so, that I just HAD to speak up.
"When your life is in the middle of total chaos, I mean everything is just chaotic, don't you marvel at how God is just, so... constant? Like, He's so, there... so constant."
Suddenly, the room grew still and several women looked up. Smiles appeared on many faces and I audibly heard "yes" from different locations in the room. I felt an urging to continue though a nervousness swept over me.
It's like when all these circumstances are occuring, you simply have to look up, and there He is, constantly the same... always there.... powerful, loving, solving, CONSTANT!
I marvel at how God is so aware of all the hidden troubles and immovable by them. So in control, is my God, over all the minute details that can cause disharmony during phases in my life. I can worry over them, cry over them and become anxious to the point of illness and yet He is STILL.
He is constant.
My constant Father... Pressing my hand firmly on my chest, I look toward heaven, seeing and feeling the constance of His being...
Though nervous, I slowly finished speaking. "Aren't we all so blessed to be able to see Him in this light?"
